TS Financial's (TPE:2887) subsidiary, Taishin Securities unit was fined NT$3.6 million and received a warning from the Financial Supervisory Commission of Taiwan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Taiwan Exchange.
The company disclosed the occurrence of an abnormal situation in the electronic trading system after Taishin Securities merged with MasterLink Securities on April 6.
An investigation found that the company had failed to implement its internal control system and was therefore imposed penalties.
The entity's financial operations will also be restricted and it will be barred from applying to add business types or items or establish new branches.
