2327 GMT [Dow Jones]--It's a double dose of good news from Cleanaway Waste Management, signals Jefferies. Cleanaway named Nigel Simonsz as its new CFO. Analyst Amit Kanwatia considers that to be a positive appointment, saying Simonsz is highly credentialed. His past roles include a stint as CFO of Sigma Healthcare. "In addition to Nigel's focus on tighter capital allocation and cash flow generation, we view his commercial and operational experience as supportive of the successful execution of BluePrint 2030 2.0," says Jefferies, referencing Cleanaway's growth plan. Cleanaway's update also included guidance for FY26 Ebit being slightly ahead of consensus hopes. Jefferies, which has a buy call on Cleanaway, trims its price target by 5.0% to A$3.05/share. Cleanaway ended Wednesday at A$2.31. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
