Alaska Air Group (ALK) Q2 swung to an adjusted loss of $0.92 per diluted share on Tuesday, compared with earnings of $1.78 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.99.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $4.07 billion, up from $3.70 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $4.09 billion.
For Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of between $0.00 and $1.00. Analysts expect $1.47.
