Badger Meter (BMI) reported Q2 earnings Wednesday of $1.02 per diluted share, down from $1.17 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.01.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $222.3 million, down from $238.1 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $220.6 million.
The company said it expects full-year 2026 revenue, excluding acquisitions, to be roughly flat versus 2025.
