Infleqtion shares rose after the company said it was awarded three projects under the Energy Department's Genesis Mission.
Shares were up about 7.2% at $10.59 in late morning trading. The stock is down 32% this year.
The company said the projects include collaborations with Argonne, Brookhaven, and Lawrence Livermore national laboratories and the University of Colorado Boulder. The work spans AI-optimized quantum circuit design for nuclear applications, deployable atomic quantum sensing using agentic AI, and simulations of nonlinear plasma dynamics for fusion research.
