Montana Technologies Partners With Kubota on Air-to-Water Projects

Montana Technologies (AIRJ) will partner with Japan-based Kubota to develop two water-from-air pilot installations in the US, the water-projects developer disclosed late Tuesday.

Kubota has agreed to purchase two Montana Technologies systems, which are scheduled to break ground near Corpus Christi, Texas, and Irvine, California, in Q3.

The deployments will partner Montana Technologies water-generation systems with Kubota's infrastructure expertise in piping, wastewater treatment, reclamation and operations.

In addition, Kubota will exclusively market, sell, and distribute Montana Technologies systems for multi-unit residential developments in Texas and California, concentrating on water-short areas.

Montana Technologies systems produce safe drinking water by passing ambient air through desiccant materials, from which water is collected, the company said.
