Great Boulder Resources Extends Mineralization at Western Australia Project; Shares Up 9%

Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) extended the known mineralization at its Side Well project in Western Australia after intersecting more high-grade gold during drilling at Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk deposits, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results include 7 meters at 14.5 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 56 meters, 4 meters at 9.12 g/t grade of gold from 80 meters, and 8 meters at 4.3 g/t grade of gold from 84 meters, the filing said.

Meanwhile, drilling is also underway at the Peak Hill project, with two reverse circulation rigs in operation, per the filing.

Shares rose past 9% in morning trade Wednesday.
