MapLight Therapeutics (MPLT) is seen having meaningful upside in the upcoming ML-007 Ph2 schizophrenia trial readout, with the study completed on June 4th and data expected in mid-August, UBS said in a note Tuesday.

The bank said investors are primarily focused on whether ML-007 can demonstrate a clean tolerability profile, with low rates of vomiting and nausea that can differentiate it from Cobenfy.

UBS said the potential advantages of once-daily dosing and no food restrictions are particularly important in the schizophrenia patient group given challenges with adherence and cognitive impairment, adding that better tolerability could be a win even with similar efficacy.

UBS maintained a buy rating and raised price target to $52 from $48.
