Scotts Miracle-Gro (SMG) has an "attractive" setup for fiscal Q3, driven by favorable weather and strong point-of-sale trends, UBS Securities said in a Monday note.

The company is set to release its fiscal Q3 results on July 29, and its solid top-line and margin expansion indicate near-term visibility and fiscal 2026 targets within reach, the investment firm said. Scotts Miracle-Gro could maintain its full-year outlook of $4.15 to $4.35 in non-GAAP earnings per share, UBS added.

For fiscal 2027, UBS said Scotts Miracle-Gro could face potential commodity inflation and revisions to its long-term targets under a new chief executive.

UBS has a neutral rating on Scotts Miracle-Gro, with a $70 price target.
