Vanda Pharmaceuticals (VNDA) said late Thursday a committee of the European Medicines Agency has adopted a positive opinion recommending orphan drug designation for imsidolimab to treat generalized pustular psoriasis.
This marks the first time that the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products has granted the label for a drug to treat GPP in the European Union, the company said.
