Telstra Group (ASX:TLS) Chief Executive Vicki Brady is scheduled to appear before the Senate Environment and Communications References Committee at 12 pm Canberra time on Friday as part of an inquiry into the Triple Zero service outage, according to the Australian Parliament's website.
The hearing follows a mobile network outage on July 8 that disrupted voice and data services, including some calls to the Triple Zero emergency service, which the company said was caused by a network time-synchronization device failure rather than a cyber incident, according to an earlier statement by the company.
