0722 GMT - HCL Technologies may benefit from entry into the artificial-intelligence data center business, Nomura analysts say in a research report. The Indian IT services and consulting company's initial strategic investment of up to 35 billion rupees aims for a long-term capacity of 50 megawatts, the analysts note. This business also aims to offer full-stack AI-ready solutions and address sovereign data requirements. HCL Technologies plans to differentiate its AI data center strategy from large infrastructure companies by focusing on full-stack AI solutions with high-margin services, rather than just renting out capacity. Nomura raises the stock's target price to 1,290.00 rupees from 1,250.00 rupees, with an unchanged buy rating. Shares are 3.4% lower at 1,179.40 rupees. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
