PBA Holdings Bhd (KLSE:PBA) said the deadline for signing the definitive Bulk Water Supply Agreement (BWSA) between its wholly-owned subsidiary, Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd (PBAPP), Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak (PKNPk), and Gamuda Berhad (KLSE:GAMUDA) has been extended to a date to be determined.

The further extension follows the expiry of the previous non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) extension, according to a Monday filing to the Malaysian bourse.

The new completion date will be determined later.

The MOU relates to discussions on securing a bulk water supply arrangement, a key component of long-term efforts to strengthen water security for Penang.

It was initially signed in November 2025 and has seen a series of extensions since.
