ASML (ASML) plans to reduce the production and testing cycle for its extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV) systems to 15 to 16 weeks from about 22 weeks to meet strong artificial intelligence-driven demand, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing Chief Financial Officer Roger Dassen.
Dassen said ASML is "close to being fully booked" for EUV machines in 2027 and has received a substantial number of orders for 2028, according to the report.
The company plans to streamline testing procedures, dedicate more factory space to manufacturing, increase production capacity by 30% in 2027, and is evaluating another 30% expansion in 2028, the report said.
