IBM (IBM) launched on Wednesday an artificial intelligence agent to continuously monitor systems and autonomously resolve issues alongside a compact Power server and development software to help businesses automate operations and build applications.
The IBM Power Autonomous Operations software identifies and fixes capacity limits up to 15 times faster than manual processes, while the one-socket S1112 server handles AI tasks locally and offers up to 69% greater energy efficiency than previous versions, the company said.
The S1112 will become generally available on July 24, followed by the autonomous operations program on Sept. 23, IBM said.
Shares of the company were up 1.1% in Wednesday premarket activity.
