Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH) plans to expand its frontier-certified workforce with 5,000 frontier certified engineers and 10,000 frontier business operators, the company said Thursday.

The initial cohort will be both frontier-assessed and deployment-ready by Q4, it said.

The company said the workforce will receive credentials directly from companies such as GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude and OpenAI Codex.

Cognizant said the workforce will be organized into a single premium job family comprising seven roles across the two tracks of frontier certified engineers and frontier business operators.

The workforce will operate across any cloud and any AI model to help bridge the gap between AI capabilities and enterprise results, the company said.
