TFI International's Business Could be Nearing Long-lasting Up-cycle

1406 ET - While TFI International's 2Q results are expected to mirror lingering demand softness and muted margins, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on a quiet structural turnaround in the trucking sector. National Bank of Canada's Cameron Doerksen says he is "confident in a broader industry pricing rebound driven by lower industry supply." The industry recovery is still in the early stages, he says, but given that lower trucking supply has been due to regulatory changes in the U.S. and Canada, "this up-cycle has the potential to be more long-lasting than has historically been the case for trucking cycles."
