Broken Hill Mines Says New South Wales Plant Ore Processing Up in June Quarter

Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) said it processed 119,320 tonnes of ore at its Rasp processing plant in New South Wales in the June quarter, up 3.2% compared with the March quarter, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said it produced 95,787 ounces of silver; 2,376 tonnes of lead; and 3,330 tonnes of zinc during the quarter. Silver output jumped nearly 22%, zinc production rose 7% sequentially, and lead production fell 3.9%.

The company said this was the best quarterly silver production since September 2022 and highest zinc production since March 2025.
