IG Group's New Corporate Structure Creates Financial Flexibility

1200 GMT - IG Group's proposal to form a new Jersey-incorporated holding company will create financial flexibility, which could boost its M&A capacity and shareholder returns, RBC Europe analyst Ben Bathurst writes. The online trading platform said shares will remain listed on the London Stock Exchange but management will review the company's listing venues as part of a wider strategic review. "We believe a more ambitious growth strategy, a strategic review and prospects for continued material capital returns make IGG shares an attractive proposition for 2026," Bathurst says. Shares are down 2.4% at 18.18 pounds. (ian.walker@wsj.com)
