Infinity Natural Resources' Q2 to Ease Oil, Liquids Performance Concerns, RBC Says

Infinity Natural Resources' (INR) Q2 should allay investor concerns on oil and liquids performance from the previous quarter, RBC Capital Markets said in a note emailed Tuesday.

RBC analysts projected slightly higher production, mainly in crude oil and natural gas liquids, driven by solid well results, quicker-than-expected well completions, and higher liquids extraction. Q2 will be the first quarter that fully reflects its acquisition in the Utica formation, which is expected to modestly boost profit margins, the analysts added.

The company's drilling and development targets are not expected to change, even with the recent relative oil price weakness, according to the note.

Infinity is seen shifting to more natural gas completions in the second half of the year, while subtle optimization is expected rather than major changes, the analysts said.

RBC maintained its rating on the company's stock at outperform with a price target of $27.
