Judo Capital's Bulls Stick Around on Selloff

0157 GMT - Judo Capital's bulls at Morgan Stanley stay overweight on the Australian business bank thanks to the savage selloff that followed its recent trading update. The MS analysts tell clients in a note that it could take some time for the lender to restore credibility following its announcement of increased credit provisioning. However, they point out that the 40% share-price drop that followed the announcement has left the stock trading at just 0.5 times book value. Going forward, the MS analysts want to see more disclosure from Judo on the composition of loans, particularly for property operators and construction companies. MS cuts its target price on the stock 32% to 1.25 Australian dollars. Shares are up 3.1% at A$0.9075. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
