AtaiBeckley (ATAI) said Monday it administered the final dose of its experimental medication VLS-01 to participants in a phase 2b trial treating adults with treatment-resistant depression.
The clinical study enrolled 156 subjects, with initial performance results anticipated in Q4, the company said.
Assuming supportive trial outcomes, the company plans to advance the treatment into a phase 3 program targeting major depressive disorder, AtaiBeckley said.
