The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) is expected to start formal marketing of its upcoming intial pubic offering as early as next week, according to a Bloomberg News report on Monday, citing sources.
Last month, NSE filed its draft prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for its IPO, through which existing shareholders of the exchange operator plan to sell up to 148.9 million shares, or about 6% of the company.
The report estimates that the NSE could raise as much as $3 billion through the stake sale.
NSE did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
