Nike $(NKE)$: Shares in the sneaker maker fell more than 3% premarket after it said it continued to face sales weakness in China.
Alcoa $(AA)$, South32 (AU:S32): Aluminum producer Alcoa agreed to buy the bauxite, alumina and aluminum assets of Australian miner South32 in a deal valued at up to $5.6 billion. Shares in Alcoa dipped; South32 popped 10% in Sydney.
Galderma (CH:GALD): Shares in the Swiss skincare specialist fell after it again failed to obtain approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its latest Botox rival.
Shutterstock $(SSTK)$, Getty Images (GETY): Getty said it plans to end a merger deal with Shutterstock because a U.K. antitrust regulator said the latter must sell its editorial business. Shares in Shutterstock nosedived premarket, while Getty's also fell.
Rheinmetall (RHM): Shares in the German weapons maker climbed. The Financial Times reported that Germany is pushing the U.S. to agree to a joint-production deal to manufacture more armaments in the Germany.
FMC $(FMC)$: Shares in the agricultural-sciences company climbed premarket after it received a strategic investment from Belgian industrial company Tessenderlo.
