0719 GMT - Keppel Ltd. is likely to sell the fifth and last fiber pair in its subsea fiber-optic cable system by the end of the year, which would shift investors' focus to the asset manager's recurring operations and maintenance income, says UOB Kay Hian's Adrian Loh in a note. The analyst estimates the Singapore company sold its fourth fiber pair for over US$100 million, higher than a previous sale. The project offers a 30% internal rate of return, underpinning the company's asset-light infrastructure strategy, he adds. Keppel's earnings visibility is also likely to be buoyed by its newly commissioned Singapore power plant and South Korean data-center expansion. UOB KH retains its buy rating and target of 13.23 Singapore dollars. Shares rise 0.45% to S$11.11. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
