Optical Cable Shares Rise on Addition to Russell Microcap Index

Optical Cable shares advanced after the company said it was added to the Russell Microcap Index as part of the 2026 semiannual reconstitution.
Shares were recently up 6.7% at $19.61 in morning trading Monday.
The company said the change took effect after market close Friday. Membership in the Russell Microcap Index also means automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value indexes, the company said.
