--British energy company Shell is in advanced talks to sell its fuel stations in South Africa to the retail arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. in a roughly $1 billion deal, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The two parties are preparing to announce the deal in the coming days, Bloomberg reports, citing the sources.

--Representatives for Shell and Adnoc Distribution declined to comment, according to the report.
