Shares of TD Synnex are on track to open at an all-time high after company guidance for the current quarter sharply exceed Wall Street expectations.
The stock was up 7% at $303.01 in premarket trading. Shares have already hit a fresh record earlier this week, closing Tuesday at over $290.
The IT distributor said before the opening bell that it expects $18.2 billion to $19 billion in revenue for the fiscal third quarter that started this month. Analysts polled by FactSet are projecting $16.8 billion.
Adjusted earnings on track to hit $4.25 to $4.75 a share, the company said, outpacing analyst estimates for $4.03 a share.
The upbeat outlook came on the back of a strong second quarter. TD Synnex posted a profit of $334 million, or $4.15 a share, compared with $185 million, or $2.21 a share, in the same quarter a year earlier.
Stripping out one-time items, adjusted earnings were $4.85 a share. Analysts had been looking for just $4.14 a share.
Revenue climbed 31% from the year prior to $19.58 billion, ahead of projections for $16.8 billion, according to FactSet.
