2301 GMT - Jarden remains cautious about the near-term outlook for equipment-rental company Emeco, despite early signs that fuel-related operating pressures have peaked. It keeps a "neutral" call on Emeco while lowering its price target by 19%, to A$1.05/share. Emeco ended Wednesday at A$0.995, with the stock down 31% since hitting a high in February. Analyst Jakob Cakarnis says the pull back in Emeco's share price and strong balance-sheet position offers better valuation support than before. "In order to gain more confidence in the outlook we cautiously await the 1H27 result to see signs that the anticipated improvement in operating utilization have been delivered for earnings," Jarden says.
