Mission Produce Pick of the Week at Smart Insider Following Director Share Purchases

Mission Produce (AVO) was Smart Insider's stock pick of the week after directors Bruce Taylor and Jay Pack bought company shares on June 11 and June 12.

Taylor, a non-executive director since 2001, acquired $1.9 million of stock at $11.16 apiece on June 12, increasing his stake by 3%, Smart Insider said in a Tuesday note. The purchase was his first since the company's initial public offering and followed a series of sales, according to the note.

Pack, a non-executive director since 2008, bought $413,193 of shares on June 11, lifting his holding by 2%, Smart Insider said, adding that the transaction was also his first purchase after a string of sales.

Smart Insider said the purchases marked the first insider buying at Mission Produce since 2022.

The company reported earnings on June 8.

Smart Insider ranked Mission Produce +1, indicating a strong positive signal.
