Ballard Mining (ASX:BM1) extended mineralization 200 meters along strike following drilling at its Baldock deposit at the Mt Ida project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Extensional drilling 300 meters below and outside the current mineral resource estimate yielded 3 meters at nearly 24 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 689 meters, 8 meters at 7.7 g/t grade of gold from 666 meters, including 2.3 meters at 20 g/t grade of gold, the filing said.

Additionally, updated geological interpretation indicated "significant" depth extensions to the deposit and the potential for mineralization to extend a further 1,500 meters south along strike, per the filing.
