Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) said recent drilling at its Comet Vale gold project in Western Australia delivered "outstanding results" and continued to extend high-grade lodes at the Sovereign deposit, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The latest results include 7.6 meters at 5.1 grams per tonne grade of gold from 251.3 meters; 1.2 meters at 31.5 g/t from 69.1 meters; 2.8 meters at 7.8 g/t from 190.8 meters; 2 meters at 9.6 g/t from 40.2 meters; and 2 meters at 6.3 g/t from 110.1 meters, per the filing.

The Comet Vale project is part of Gorilla's North Kalgoorlie Hub, which hosts mineral resources of 1.2 million ounces at 3.7 g/t gold and is "expanding rapidly with ongoing drilling," the company said.
