Jiangsu Eastern Shenghong to Shut Down Chemical Plant for Maintenance

Jiangsu Eastern Shenghong (SHE:000301) plans to temporarily suspend the operations of the Shenghong Refining and Chemical Integration Plant for maintenance, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Monday.
The routine shutdown and overhaul of the plant's facilities will start this month, and the maintenance period is expected to run for 45 days.
The plant produces 16 million tons of chemicals annually since it was commissioned in 2022.
The chemical producer's shares rose 1% during the morning trade.
