HomeCo Daily Needs REIT Delivers Solid Portfolio Gains -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Jun 17

0155 GMT - HomeCo Daily Needs REIT's bull at Jefferies is upbeat about the increase in the mall owner's portfolio valuation over the six months through June. That's because investor activity likely softened in the period, reflecting geopolitical and macro uncertainty, analyst Andrew Dodds says. HomeCo Daily Needs REIT's portfolio value increased by A$92 million, or 1.8% on six months earlier. The improvement was driven by net operating income growth. Jefferies retains a buy call and A$1.48/share price target on HomeCo Daily Needs REIT, which is up 0.4% at A$1.29. "The stock has underperformed peers year to date and screens as inexpensive at a 16% discount to net tangible assets, 7% dividend yield and underpinned by the defensive characteristics of neighborhood/convenience retail," Jefferies says.
