Sims (ASX:SGM) raised its fiscal 2026 underlying earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) outlook to AU$420 million to AU$435 million from AU$350 million to AU$400 million, citing improved non-ferrous pricing and stronger ferrous trading conditions, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The North American Metals segment is projected to deliver a strong second-half earnings uplift, supported by robust performance from both Sims North America Metals and SA Recycling, per the filing.

Sims Lifecycle Services is expected to deliver strong performance, with fiscal 2026 EBIT projected at AU$170 million to AU$175 million, supported by structural growth in the global data center market, though timing will vary with customer decommissioning schedules, the filing added.
