Chongqing Iron & Steel (SHE:601005, HKG:1053) received approval from the Shanghai Stock Exchange to place shares, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.
The steel company's Hong Kong shares dropped 4% and Shenzhen shares fell 2% during the morning trade.
