0953 GMT - Advertising agencies are grappling with long-standing headwinds, but they are still relevant in an era of artificial-intelligence disruption, Berenberg analysts say in a research note. AI will make it easier for marketers to in-house some work, but will also make the marketing landscape more complex and fragmented, according to Berenberg. "Agencies have continuously adapted, moving from traditional media to digital, data and now AI," the analysts say. "Their next phase of relevance rests on two pillars: acting as strategic marketing orchestrators in increasingly complex ecosystems, and delivering scaled data, technology and AI capabilities." Berenberg starts coverage of Publicis, WPP and Havas stock with buy recommendations. Shares in Havas, WPP and Publicis rise 5.7%, 4.3% and 2.4%, respectively. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
