Kraft Heinz (KHC) said in a regulatory filing Monday it has directed trustee Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas to issue a partial redemption notice for its 3.875% senior debt maturing in 2027.
The food manufacturer intends to retire $1 billion of the $1.35 billion total outstanding principal amount for the debt, the company said.
The repayment is scheduled for July 8 to cover the full principal value alongside any accumulated unpaid interest plus make-whole premiums, Kraft said.
