BlackRock (BLK) plans to launch the iShares Space Technologies UCITS ETF for European investors, allowing newly public companies to be incorporated within weeks of their listings, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The index features an IPO fast-entry process, adding newly listed companies within 10 to 30 days. It also enables new listings to be added through intra-rebalance reviews rather than waiting for scheduled rebalances, according to the report.
Space ETFs have attracted $8 billion in net inflows since the start of the year, making them the second-largest ETF theme by inflows, Bloomberg Intelligence added.
BlackRock didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
