J.M. Smucker Expects Net Sales To Fall in Fiscal 2027 -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
Jun 09
0840 ET - J.M. Smucker sees sales falling 3% to 4% in fiscal 2027, reflecting lower prices and volumes. Companywide, total net price realization is expected to decrease by 2 percentage points, largely due to a planned mid-single-digit percentage decrease in prices across the company's U.S retail coffee segment, CFO Tucker Marshall says in prepared earnings remarks. The decrease will be partially offset by a planned low-single-digit percent increase in prices in its sweet baked snacks segment. The company recently announced price increases on certain parts of its Hostess Donettes business, driven by higher costs. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
