Virgin Australia Expands Pets in Cabin Service to Adelaide, South Australia

Virgin Australia Holdings (ASX:VGN) said that its first Pets in Cabin flight from Adelaide, South Australia, will depart for Melbourne, Victoria, on June 23, according to a Tuesday statement.
The airline said it was working with airport partners to assess further expansion opportunities for more Pets in Cabin destinations. It plans to make Pets in Cabin services a standard offering on eligible services from next year, subject to final airport approvals.
It extended the travel dates for most of its Pets in Cabin services through to Sept. 30, with services between Adelaide and Melbourne available to book until Jan. 31, 2027.
The airline's shares were up 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
