Figure Technology Solutions has agreed to acquire Kiavi, a lending platform for residential real estate investors, for $717 million.

As part of the deal, a joint venture between Figure and the investment firm Sixth Street will acquire Kiavi's balance sheet assets. Sixth Street will buy loans off Kiavi's balance sheet.

Kiavi's products include short-term residential transition loans and long-term rental property loans known as debt service coverage ratio loans.

The deal represents a $200 billion annual addressable origination opportunity, said Figure, which provides a marketplace for tokenized assets.

Kiavi is expected to add $7 billion in annual volume.
