Coya Therapeutics Says Phase 2 ALS Study Enters Blinded Extension Phase

Coya Therapeutics (COYA) said Monday that it has initiated the blinded extension phase of its phase 2 clinical trial of COYA 302 in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.
Under the extension phase, the company said patients who have completed the 24-week placebo-controlled double-blind phase will continue on their regimen from the first phase, with placebo patients re-randomized to receive one of the two dosing regimens of COYA 302 for 24 weeks.
Shares of the company were up 2.3% in Monday premarket activity.
