Lottery Corp Seems to be Prioritizing Growth Over Cost Savings -- Market Talk

Dow Jones

0420 GMT - Lottery Corp's new strategy appears to prioritize growth over cost savings in the near term, according to its bulls at UBS. The investment bank's analysts take stock of the Australian lottery operator's strategy day, and draw investors' attention to its comment that it remains committed to "cost growth below normalized revenue growth." The analysts add that lowered fiscal 2026 guidance for operating expenses of between 300 million Australian dollars and A$310 million doesn't include benefits from Lottery Corp's new operating model. UBS keeps a buy rating on the stock and trims its target price by 0.8% to A$6.15. Shares are up 0.7% at A$5.195. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
