Legend Holdings Shares Could Be Cheaper Way to Gain Lenovo Exposure -- Market Talk

0250 GMT - Lenovo parent Legend Holdings' stock could be a cheaper way to gain exposure to the world's largest personal-computer maker, say Citi analysts in a note. Hong Kong-listed Legend trades at a steep 77% discount to its net asset value, which implies an around 59% discount to the market value of its stake in Lenovo, the analysts say. They raise their FY 2026-FY 2027 earnings forecasts for Legend by 57%-68%. The analysts also lift their FY 2028 earnings projections by 122% to reflect revised estimates for Lenovo's favorable product mix and market share gain. Citi increases its target price for Legend to 16.00 Hong Kong dollars from HK$10.60 to reflect recent gains in Lenovo shares and retains its buy rating on Legend. Shares rise 7.0% to HK$13.91.
