Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted net income Wednesday of $1.47 per diluted share, down from $1.70 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.28.
Net sales for the quarter ended May 2 were $1.11 billion, compared with $1.10 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.12 billion.
For fiscal Q2, the company said it expects net income of between $1.80 and $2.00 per diluted share. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.48. Quarterly sales are expected to grow 2% to 4%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.25 billion.
For fiscal 2026, Abercrombie & Fitch reiterated its net income guidance in the range of $10.20 to $11.00 per diluted share on sales growth of 3% to 5%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $10.64 and $5.46 billion, respectively.
Shares of the company were up more than 3% in Wednesday premarket activity.
