Kohl's Fiscal Q1 Loss Unchanged, Sales Fall; Full-Year Outlook Maintained -- Shares Up Pre-Bell

Kohl's (KSS) reported a fiscal Q1 loss Thursday of $0.13 per diluted share, unchanged from a year earlier.
Two analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.16.
Net sales for the quarter ended May 2 were $3 billion, down from $3.05 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.99 billion.
For fiscal 2026, Kohl's reiterated its adjusted EPS guidance range of $1 to $1.60. Analysts are looking for $1.36.
The company also said it continues to expect full-year net sales and comparable sales to be between down 2% and flat.
Kohl's shares were up 10% in premarket activity.
