Vicor Raises Q2 Revenue Guidance; Shares Rise Pre-Bell

Vicor (VICR) has raised its Q2 revenue guidance to $142 million from $126 million, due to rising product revenues and royalties from a new licensee to its power system technology, the company said Tuesday.

Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $125.5 million.

The company said the new license includes all of its patents covering power converter topologies, control systems, power components, and distribution architectures.

Shares of Vicor were up more than 7% pre-bell.
