Olema Pharmaceuticals (OLMA) said Tuesday it entered into a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Bayer to evaluate its investigational therapy OP-3136 in combination with Bayer's Nubeqa in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
Financial terms were not provided.
Under the terms of the deal, Bayer will supply Nubeqa for use in a phase 1b/2 study that Olema will lead, Olema said.
All clinical data and inventions related to the combined use of the drugs will be jointly owned, Olema said, adding it will retain global commercial and marketing rights to OP-3136.
The phase 1b/2 study is designed to assess the safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of the combination therapy in around 36 patients, Olema said.
Shares of Olema were up 1.9% in premarket activity Tuesday.
