Philip Morris International is replacing its top finance executive.

Philip Morris on Wednesday said Massimo Andolina, who has been president of the tobacco company's Europe Region since January 2023, will succeed Emmanuel Babeau as group chief financial officer on Aug. 1.

The Stamford, Conn., company said Babeau, who has been finance chief since May 2020, will stay on through March 2027 as a strategic adviser to assist with the transition, adding that his separation will constitute a unilateral termination, entitling him to payments and benefits associated with a termination without cause.

Andolina, 57 years old, joined Philip Morris in 2008.
